The service
MakoChat is an AI chat assistant for business websites, provided by Mako Logics LLC as a managed service. We set up, host, and operate the assistant on behalf of subscribing businesses under a separate service agreement.
AI answers aren't guarantees
Assistant replies are generated by AI from information the business provides. They can be incomplete or wrong. Replies are not professional advice, a binding quote, or a contract — confirm important details (pricing, availability, scope of work) directly with the business.
Acceptable use
Don't abuse the service: no attempting to extract other users' data, probe or overload our systems, submit unlawful content, or use the chat to spam. We may suspend access that harms the service or other users.
For subscribing businesses
Your subscription, pricing, and support terms live in your service agreement with Mako Logics. You're responsible for the accuracy of the business information your assistant is trained on and for your own compliance obligations toward your customers.
Liability
The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mako Logics LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service, and our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the service in the twelve months before a claim.
